Springerin

Founded in 1995, Springerin is an Austrian magazine that explores contemporary art and culture. While at Schule für Gestaltung Zürich, I was given the challenge of developing a new layout system for future issues.

My goal was to create a solid framework that ensures visual consistency across all article types. I achieved this by designing a clear grid structure with adaptable text columns and flexible image handling. Additionally, I defined a scalable font hierarchy and set rules for image captions, source lists, and chapter titles.

The result is a system that, despite being deliberately technical and precise, inspires sophisticated and expressive layouts.
