muda, also known as the Museum of Digital Art Zurich, explores the connections between algorithms, data, and society through the beauty of code. As Europe’s first physical and virtual museum dedicated to digital art, it hosts exhibitions, lectures, and workshops.
While at Schule für Gestaltung Zürich, I was tasked with developing their new brand identity. To reflect the juxtaposition between art and algorithms, I constructed a modular logo symbol that is both systematic and playful.
Designed for flexibility, the element can be animated, paired with the wordmark, or expanded into bold patterns. The result is a visual language that’s dynamic, scalable, and recognisable across all applications.
